Bayer awarded Amerinet deal

Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals of Wayne, NJ, has received a two-year supply contract for its Magnevist and Ultravist contrast agents from group purchasing organization Amerinet.

The agreement is in effect through 2010 and covers both Magnevist (gadopentetate dimeglumine) and Ultravist (iopromide) in multiple quantities. The St. Louis-based Amerinet serves more than 26,000 acute and nonacute healthcare providers nationwide.
