Point-of-care fluorescence imaging developer MolecuLight said its wound imaging device MolecuLightDX has been integrated into Intellicure's wound care electronic health record (EHR) platform.
Wound care clinicians who use Intellicure's SMART apps or its complete EHR platform can now upload standard and fluorescence images and measurements captured with the MolecuLight device at the point-of-care to the patient's record, MolecuLight said. The integrated platforms allow clinicians to optimize their workflow and document their patients' wounds digitally, the company added.
MolecuLightDX is cleared in the U.S., Europe, and Canada for real-time detection of elevated bacterial burden in and around wounds, while Intellicure’s EHR software is used by many advanced wound centers, MolecuLight noted.
