Bracco Diagnostics upgrades HeartSee software

Bracco Diagnostics, a subsidiary of Bracco Imaging, has released an updated version of its HeartSee software.

HeartSee quantifies myocardial blood flow on cardiac PET imaging. Version 4 will include new features such as the ability to measure subendocardial ischemia -- which offers additional information when other imaging results cannot explain a patient's symptoms -- and relative stress flow, which provides indirect assessment of subendocardial border zones in areas with mildly reduced coronary flow capacity.

Bracco Diagnostics introduced HeartSee to the market in 2018, it said.
