Radioisotope manufacturer International Isotopes is planning to launch a lutetium-177 isotope. Lutetium-177 is under investigation for more than 30 different clinical applications, including the treatment of colon cancer, metastatic bone cancer, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and lung cancer, according to the Idaho Falls, ID-based firm. International Isotopes is obtaining lutetium-177 via an agreement with the University of Missouri Research Reactor.
