JNM names Schelbert editor-in-chief

The Journal of Nuclear Medicine (JNM) has appointed Dr. Heinrich Schelbert as its editor-in-chief. He is scheduled to take over the helm of the JNM, published by the Reston, VA-based Society of Nuclear Medicine, in January 2004.

Schelbert is currently the George V. Taplin professor of nuclear medicine in the department of molecular and medical pharmacology at the UCLA School of Medicine, and is chief of nuclear medicine service at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has served or is currently serving on the editorial boards or in editorial positions at 17 professional journals.
