Siemens Medical Solutions has introduced c.cam, a reclining dedicated cardiac gamma camera system. The scanner, formally rolled out this week at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology meeting in Indianapolis, IN, features a small footprint, patient-comfort additions, myocardial viability and perfusion capabilities, and integrated software for analysis of ejection fraction and wall motion, according to Siemens of Malvern, PA. The vendor’s e.soft syngo-based nuclear medicine software is included.
