Gamma camera developer IS2 Medical Systems has released PULSEcdc, a compact cardiac gamma camera able to provide all-digital event positioning, according to the Ottawa, Ontario-based firm.
With the camera set to the fully reclined bed position, supine or prone imaging is possible in either 180° or 360°, IS2 said. The system’s 15 x 10.2-inch field of view guards against clipping of heart images, according to the vendor.
IS2 has also included a windowed gantry, as well as its Tele-Fix remote technical troubleshooting capability, which allows direct customer access to the company’s engineering and clinical staff. The standard PULSEcdc configuration is a fixed 90° dedicated dual-head model, although a more economical single-head version is also available that can be field-upgraded to a dual-head system, IS2 said.
