Digirad of Poway, CA, plans to showcase a work-in-progress triple-head gamma camera at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in March.
Digirad's Cardius X-ACT is a dedicated cardiac SPECT system that features the Cardius-3 XPO camera's solid-state detectors with an x-ray tube. The X-ACT configuration is designed to utilize high-count rate capabilities of solid-state detectors with a 24-inch-wide, triple-head detector geometry to eliminate truncation.
