(Booth 9149) Scintimammography developer Dilon Technologies will feature new products and services, including the GammaLoc device for gamma-guided localization and biopsy, at RSNA 2008.
The system is designed for 3D localization of focal intensities when using molecular imaging agents. It's pending 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Also on display will be the Dilon 6800 Access, a transportable, secure version of the original Dilon 6800 scintimammography system. The camera is designed for use in medical centers that may not have patient volumes high enough to justify a full-time system.
The Newport News, VA-based company also will detail its medical physics consulting services, as well as new partnerships with mammography information systems developer PenRad Technologies of Plymouth, MN, and portable-ultrasound technology developer Terason of Burlington, MA.
Dilon also will show its Dilon 6800 gamma camera, and the company will discuss its efforts to expand international distribution of the product.
