Molecular imaging technology developer Spectrum Dynamics Medical has introduced D-SPECT Vista, a digital solid-state cadmium zinc telluride (CZT)-based cardiac SPECT system.
The latest addition to the firm's D-SPECT imaging line, D-SPECT Vista is designed to be a cost-effective entry point to digital CZT-based myocardial perfusion imaging for institutions that want to transition away from analog cardiac scanners, according to Spectrum Dynamics.
D-SPECT Vista can also be upgraded to include quantitative diagnostic applications such as dynamic imaging, according to the company. D-SPECT Vista also features flexible scan positioning and has a 1,000-pound chair weight limit.
In addition, customers can add options such as Spectrum's Emission Map Attenuation Correction Option (EMAC) technology, which uses patient SPECT data to create an emission map for attenuation correction. D-SPECT Cardio can also be equipped on the scanner, enabling dynamic clinical applications such as quantitative analysis of coronary flow reserve, according to the vendor.
