PACS vendor RamSoft and imaging software developer Mirada Medical plan to partner on a radiation therapy treatment package.
RamSoft is the developer of OmegaAI, an imaging electronic medical record system platform. Under the agreement, the platform will now host both Mirada's RTx and XD software applications. RTx supports radiation therapy treatment planning, while XD is an integrated segmentation algorithm for diagnostic PET/CT imaging, according to the vendor.
The partnership is part of Mirada's strategy to expand access to its technology and accelerate cancer diagnosis and treatment for patients across the globe, company officials said.
