Prospects for a potential acquisition of Invivo by MRI components provider Intermagnetics General appear to be improving.
Just few weeks after patient monitoring provider Invivo turned down an acquisition offer from Intermagnetics, the two firms have agreed to enter into discussions regarding a potential business combination.
As part of the discussions, Intermagnetics of Latham, NY, will perform an exclusive due diligence review of Invivo. The talks are based upon a revised proposal from Intermagnetics to purchase all of the outstanding shares of the Orlando, FL-based firm for $22 per share in cash.
