Siemens Medical Solutions has introduced syngo Blade, the newest of its Total imaging matrix (Tim) MRI software applications.
Designed for pediatric and difficult-to-manage patients in neurological and orthopedic imaging, Blade is not affected by flow and motion, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. The application continuously acquires low-resolution images, and measures and corrects any motion, Siemens said.
Blade is available on all of the vendor's Tim systems, including its Magnetom Avanto, Symphony, Espree, and Trio scanners.
