McGovern Institute lands neuroscience award

The McKnight Endowment Fund for Neuroscience has awarded its Technological Innovations in Neuroscience Award to a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's McGovern Institute for Brain Research.

Alan Jasanoff is developing calcium imaging agents to provide cellular-level functional MRI. The award provides $200,000 over two years to support the research, according to the McGovern Institute of Cambridge, MA.
