(Booth 7713) Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, will introduce a new breast MRI package and a new cardiac coil at the RSNA show in Chicago.
Elite Clinical Solution for breast MRI includes MammoTrak dockable patient support, diagnostic and biopsy coils, and DynaCAD enterprise breast software for analysis and biopsy planning from the MR console.
The technology provides a set of tools for breast MRI and is available as an option with Philips 1.5- and 3.0-tesla systems for both new and existing customers.
In the area of cardiology, Philips will announce the commercial release of a 32-channel cardiac coil for both Achieva 1.5- and 3.0-tesla systems.
The company will also demonstrate its Panorama High-Field Open scanner and display higher-performance gradients to improve the imaging performance of the system. The new gradients will be commercially available by mid-2009.
