RSIP Vision launches shoulder arthroplasty MRI planning algorithm

Computer software and artificial intelligence (AI) firm RSIP Vision has released an AI-based algorithm for total shoulder arthroplasty planning using MRI.

The algorithm segments the humerus and scapula on MRI scans and enhances the resolution of images to produce a 3D model of the bones, thus eliminating the need for a CT exam for this type of surgical planning and reducing patient exposure to radiation.
