ASTRO opens office in Washington, DC

The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology has set up a satellite office at 1101 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., in downtown Washington, DC.

The office will help the society’s government relations and healthcare economics staff respond more quickly to legislative and regulatory matters, according to Laura Thevenot, ASTRO’s executive director. ASTRO is headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
