Radiation therapy software provider CMS of St. Louis has entered into an agreement to merge this year with iKnowMed, a privately held provider of electronic medical records for medical oncology in Berkeley, CA.
CMS believes the merger will expand its position in the oncology market by providing integrated products for both radiation oncology and medical oncology practitioners, and by linking the information flow between chemotherapy and radiation therapy, iKnowMed said.
