Cardinal Health’s Radiation Management Services unit has added round testicle shields to its product line for cancer treatment patients.
The shields contain a dome-and-groove interlock that helps eliminate any radiation leakage where the top- and bottom-half blocks are joined together, according to the Cleveland firm.
Two rubber straps are provided to secure the halves together, Cardinal Health said. The company said it’s also supplying an adjustable testicle shield stand, which is designed for use with the round testicle shields and can be employed for both anterior and posterior treatments.
