Swedish radiation therapy provider Elekta of Stockholm will be showcasing new products and upgrades at the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) conference in Atlanta next week.
Elekta will show attendees its work-in-progress stereotactic radiation therapy device, the Elekta Synergy S. The Synergy S joins the Synergy product family that allows clinicians to visualize a target at the time and point of treatment, enabling the use of a higher dose while sparing healthy tissue, the firm said.
Elekta will also highlight its Leksell Gamma Knife 4C, the fourth generation of its stereotactic radiosurgery device.
