Cardinal Health releases new dosimetry electrometer

The Radiation Management Services division of Cardinal Health has introduced its Advanced Therapy Dosimeter Limited Series, a compact electrometer for measuring dose in radiation oncology.

The electrometer has a 4½-digit LCD display, internal electronic bias (full, half, and reverse polarity), extended 20,000 nC range for high-dose-rate brachytherapy, and is powered by a rechargeable battery, according to the Cleveland-based firm. A built-in timer circuit is included for the accumulation of charge versus time, Cardinal Health said.
