Siemens Medical Solutions has introduced its Acuson CV70 cardiovascular ultrasound system at this week's American College of Cardiology meeting in Chicago. The all-digital unit will provide clinicians with cardiovascular capabilities for adult, pediatric, vascular, and operating room applications, according to Siemens of Malvern, PA.
CV70 features open architecture and the vendor's DIMAQ integrated ultrasound workstation for on-board image and data management. Scheduled for release in August, CV70 will support transthoracic, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), intraoperative, and vascular imaging, Siemens said.
