GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has introduced a new service program for its Logiq e compact ultrasound units, the company said.
The service, called InSite ExC, allows GE customers to connect their ultrasound systems via a secure broadband connection to the technical support and clinical applications staff at GE's LiveAssist Center.
The initiative is an effort to help customers faced with continued IT challenges, such as integration with their facilities' electronic medical record and PACS networks. LiveAssist staff can view and control the same screens the customer is using as they work to diagnose and resolve problems, GE said.
