Samsung has begun shipping RS85 Prestige, the newest addition to the company's line of ultrasound scanners.
The RS85 Prestige. Image courtesy of Samsung.RS85 Prestige builds on the company's RS85 platform and was highlighted at the RSNA 2019 meeting in Chicago. The system was designed to provide image clarity, penetration depth, and sensitivity for blood flow perfusion.
RS85 Prestige includes features like ShadowHDR, which is designed to reduce shadows, enhancing the clarity of grayscale images, and S-Shearwave Imaging, which is designed to enable noninvasive assessment of tissue and lesion stiffness for clinical applications in the breast, liver, musculoskeletal system, and prostate.
Other features on RS85 Prestige include the LumiFlow mode for 3D-like 2D color Doppler scans, and MV-Flow Doppler technology for documentation of microvascular perfusion into tissues and organs.
