Janer given nod as Fischer CTO

Mammography vendor Fischer Imaging has hired Roman Janer as its chief technology officer director. Janer served as vice president of technology for Hologic from May 2000 until his move to Fischer, and has held key positions at companies such as Trex Medical as well as Picker International where he was head of worldwide x-ray research and development for 16 years, according to Denver-based Fischer.
