Computer-aided-detection firm R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA, has sold eight of its ImageChecker CAD systems for mammography to healthcare system Baptist Health South Florida of Miami. The new CAD systems will be installed at seven facilities, including South Miami Hospital and Baptist Outpatient Center in Miami; Mariners Hospital in Tavernier, FL; Homestead Hospital in Homestead, FL; and Baptist Medical Plaza facilities in Coral Gables, Westchester, and Doral, FL, said the company.
