Siemens provides Mammomat units to CDC Foundation

Siemens Medical Solutions is providing its Mammomat mammography systems to four grantees of a new CDC Foundation program to support mobile breast screening services. San Antonio Metropolitan Health District in San Antonio, TX; Alpena General Hospital in Alpena, MI; Goshen Medical Center in Faison, NC; and Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY, have chosen the Mammomat product to equip mobile mammography coaches, according to Malvern, PA-based Siemens.

The CDC Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the work of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is awarding grants to community organizations to implement mobile mammography screening programs for underserved women.
