Eastman Kodak Health Imaging has installed one of its DryView 8900 dry laser printers with a new mammography software upgrade at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL, the Rochester, NY-based company said.
The new software enables Sarasota Memorial's DryView 8900 imager to print images from its two full-field digital mammography (FFDM) systems with a maximum density (D-max) up to 3.6 on both 8 x 10 inch (20 x 25 cm) and 10 x 12 inch (25 x 30 cm) Kodak DryView mammography laser imaging film. The device also prints images from MR, CT, CR, ultrasound, and other digital medical imaging modalities, Kodak said.
