CT laser mammography developer Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IDSI) of Plantation, FL, has received its 17th U.S. patent.
The patent, "Medical Optical Imaging Scanner Using Multiple Wavelength Simultaneous Data Acquisition for Breast Imaging," protects the concept of differential reconstruction and reconstructing the difference in data before and after an injection of a contrast agent, such as a fluorescent compound, IDSI said.
