R2 closes U.S. government deal

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA, has been awarded a five-year U.S. Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract for its ImageChecker DM CAD system.

The agreement allows access to CAD for breast cancer detection to all Veterans Affairs and military hospitals, Indian Health organizations, and other government-funded healthcare facilities. R2 Technology is the first mammography CAD vendor on the FSS, according to the firm.
