Women's imaging vendor Fischer Imaging will be installing three of its SenoScan full-field digital mammography (FFDM) systems and two physician-review workstations at the Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center at San Francisco General Hospital.
The new $3.6 million center, which will open July 6, will focus on treating the underserved population in the area, according to the Denver-based vendor. The SenoScan systems will be integrated with a new Impax PACS network from Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC.
