Ethicon hits Mammotome milestone

Ethicon Endo-Surgery said that two million women have had a minimally invasive biopsy with the company’s Mammotome breast biopsy system.

The vacuum-assisted breast biopsy device was introduced in 1995, according to the Cincinnati-based vendor, which is a subsidiary of healthcare products company Johnson & Johnson.
