Richardson to distribute Planar mammo display

Display vendor Richardson Electronics said it will distribute Planar Systems' DomeC5i flat-panel system for displaying and viewing mammograms.

The 5-megapixel (MP) flat-panel display provides 3,061 distinct, displayable gray shades, which is nearly three times that of alternative 5 MP flat-panel monitors, according to the La Fox, IL-based firm.
