Women's imaging firm Hologic reported record revenues for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004 (end-September 25).
Bedford, MA-based Hologic said its revenues were $63.9 million for the quarter, compared to $52.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2003. Hologic's net income for the fourth quarter in 2004 was $5.2 million, compared to net income of $2.6 million for the same quarter a year earlier.
Hologic said it sold a record 44 Selenia full-field digital mammography (FFDM) systems, which contributed to revenues for fiscal 2004.
Revenues for the year were $228.7 million, compared to $204 million for the previous year. Net income for 2004 was $12.2 million, compared to net income of $2.9 million in fiscal 2003.
