Italray debuts new mammo, fluoro systems

Italian x-ray vendor Italray of Scandicci, Italy, will introduce a new mammography unit and the latest version of its digital fluoroscopy system at the Medica 2004 meeting November 24-27 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Mammograph Plus is available in two versions with features, depending on the version, such as a 100-kHz x-ray generator, an isocentric arm, an integrated operator x-ray shielding system, an automatic rhodium/molybdenum filter, and a biangular x-ray tube.

The other new system, the X-Frame CCD digital fluoroscopy system, has an acquisition speed of up to 60 frames per second, an upgraded digital subtraction angiography package, and a number of new processing tools, along with open architecture that can be easily customized and upgraded.
