Image management firm Emageon is planning to go public. The Birmingham, AL, company has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock.
Emageon plans to sell all shares in the offering. Wachovia Capital Markets and Piper Jaffray & Co. are the joint book-running managers of the underwriting group, Emageon said. Raymond James & Associates and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. are co-managers.
