Fuji launches mobile digital mammography

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA's computed radiography system for mammography (FCRm) is now available for mobile mammography use, the Stamford, CT-based firm announced.

The company has installed mobile FCRm systems at Harris County Hospital District in Houston and St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. Mobile FCRm can be connected to a secure, wireless broadband connection to send images acquired in a mobile unit to a user's desired reading location, Fuji said.
