Mammography Reporting System (MRS) of Seattle has released two new software products for scheduling and Internet communications with breast procedure patients, the company said.
MRS' SMaRT (scheduling matrix and resource tracking) schedules staff, patients, equipment, and rooms. It allows administrators to coordinate technologist or radiologist availability, as well as to determine which rooms and equipment are open, according to MRS.
The company's Secured Access package is a Web-based e-mail patient communication package that allows patients to see test results as soon as they're posted, MRS said. If a patient doesn't view his or her letter online, MRS will send the letter back to its client's system for mailing.
