Oshkosh launches mobile mammography unit

Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles (OSV) of Harvey, IL, has launched a mobile mammography coach, the company said.

The 40-ft mobile coach will travel across La Crosse, WI-based Gundersen Lutheran Health System's service area in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. It includes a Senographe Essential system from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.

The vehicle incorporates a walk-through modular body built on a Freightliner M2-106 chassis, as well as a slide-out section to create a larger interior with 271 sq ft of space, a waiting and reception area, two changing rooms, an examination room, and a rear galley area for medical staff, Oshkosh said.
