iCAD partners with Microsoft on mammography suite integration

Software developer iCAD will collaborate with Microsoft on incorporating a set of its AI-driven mammography tools into Microsoft’s Precision Imaging Network.

In a statement, iCad said that its ProFound AI Breast Health Suite will be integrated into Microsoft’s cloud-based PowerScribe radiology platform to provide automated mammography reporting across the network, which connects more than 17,000 healthcare facilities nationwide.

Precision Imaging Network provides access to a collection of third-party AI-based radiology software through a single point of integration, with standardized integrations into radiology workflows.

iCAD noted that this collaboration follows the 2024 U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance of its ProFound Detection Version 4.0 for digital breast tomosynthesis.
