Color Health, Google Cloud team up for accessible breast screening

Color Health and Google Cloud are partnering on an accessible breast cancer screening initiative in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The companies are combining Color Health's oncologist-led Virtual Cancer Clinic with Google Cloud to create a platform called Color Assistant agent. The platform will incorporate Google's Gemini 2.5 large language models (LLMs) and will help clinicians determine patients' eligibility for mammograms, schedule breast cancer screenings, and coordinate follow-up.

In some cases, other imaging exams such as breast ultrasound and breast MRI may be ordered by Color's clinical team in accordance with clinical guidelines. The team will receive and deliver screening results to patients and coordinate next steps for abnormal findings.

The initiative is open to all women 40 or older and women at high risk for breast cancer. The program will run through December 31, 2025.
