DeJarnette Research Systems has renamed its Breakaway software as dyseCT. The initial release of the software, which helps PACS networks manage the multiple procedure studies generated with a single multislice CT acquisition, is effective November 1.
Clinical evaluation of dyseCT was performed at the firm’s Akron General Medical Center partner site, with additional evaluation underway at other PACS sites managed by DeJarnette’s channel partners.
The firm said it plans to announce several new channel partners for dyseCT prior to the 2003 RSNA meeting. Additional clinical trials on numerous makes and models of CT scanners are also planned through the end of the year, according to the vendor.
