AccuSoft inks new contracts

Imaging software developer AccuSoft has both added to and expanded its customer base, according to the Northborough, MA-based vendor.

The firm reported that it has sold 10,000 ImageGear MD licenses and 2,500 ImageTransport MD licenses to NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a developer and provider of computer-based practice management and electronic medical records systems for medical and dental group practices.

GE Medical Systems has purchased an additional 1,500 ImageTransport MD licenses for use in its DICOM option for its Axial line of densitometers, Accusoft said. In addition, document imaging company DocSTAR has increased its business with the firm by adding 5,000 ImageGear MD licenses, the company said.
