Vital Images makes management moves

Three-dimensional-software developer Vital Images has made management changes in its engineering, marketing, and customer support areas.

Stephen Andersen has been promoted to vice president of engineering from his previous post as senior director of quality and customer satisfaction. He succeeds David Frazee, who left the company after five years as vice president of engineering.

Jeremy Abbs, who came to Plymouth, MN-based Vital Images as vice president of marketing in 2002, has been named vice president of quality and customer satisfaction. Philip Smith is now vice president of marketing and corporate development. He joined the company in 2002 as vice president of corporate development, Vital Images said.
