Image-streaming technology developer RealTimeImage has signed a letter of intent to sell its graphic arts division to Kodak Polychrome Graphics.
RTI will retain its pixels-on-demand technology and patents, and will use the proceeds of the sale to expand product development and sales and marketing efforts for its healthcare business, according to the San Bruno, CA-based vendor.
The deal is expected to close by the end of February. Terms were not disclosed.
