Mercury Computer Systems of Chelmsford, MA, has formed an alliance with graphic-processor developer NVIDIA of Santa Clara, CA, for the life sciences and geosciences markets.
Mercury and NVIDIA will provide a set of offerings based on the NVIDIA Quadro graphics processors, Mercury's family of imaging software products, and new hardware platforms that leverage multiple graphics processing units (GPUs) for imaging applications, Mercury said. The complementary technologies are designed to provide advances in 3D image processing and visualization, according to Mercury.
