Vital Images names Andersen as European VP

Advanced visualization software provider Vital Images has appointed Stephen Andersen as vice president of Vital Images Europe, effective March 1 this year.

Andersen has served as vice president of engineering at the Minneapolis-based company since January 2004.

In this new position, Andersen will establish a European office to support the company's international sales. Vital Images said it is in the process of selecting a site for its European office and expects to open that branch by mid-2006.
