Simha rejoins Vital Images

Advanced visualization firm Vital Images of Minneapolis has named Vikram Simha to the position of chief technology officer (CTO) and executive vice president of engineering.

Simha comes to Vital Images from TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, where most recently he was CTO and senior vice president of 3D engineering. Simha was also principal software engineer at Vital Images from 1994 to 1998. Simha reports to Vital Images' president and CEO Michael Carrel.

Vincent Argiro, Vital Images' founder and previous CTO, has been engaged as a consultant focused on providing strategic direction and counsel.
