Mamassist inks CAD deal with Amerinet

Computer-aided-detection developer Mamassist of Statesville, NC, has signed an agreement with group purchasing organization Amerinet.

Mamassist will provide discounted pricing on its CAD mammography outsourcing program to all Amerinet members. Mamassist contracts with imaging facilities to provide CAD services based on the Second Look product from iCAD of Nashua, NH, and ImageChecker system from R2 Technology of Sunnyvale, CA. This enables breast centers to use CAD technology without buying a system themselves.
