Growth in sales of digital products helped computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD to a 5% increase in revenue and a lower net loss in its first quarter.
For the period (end-March 31), the Nashua, NH-based firm had revenue of $6.4 million, up from $6.1 million in the first quarter of 2007. iCAD had a net loss of $446,000, compared with a net loss of $554,000 a year ago.
In quarterly highlights, digital revenue reached $4.3 million, up 24% compared with the $3.5 million turned in a year ago. Those gains helped offset declines in film-based revenue and service and supply revenue, iCAD said.
